i dunno...it had a really bad trailer...
what is it about it that is good?
Let's see:
Gameplay:
It is a First person game, but not much of a shooter. The battles are mainly melee combat, but the melee combat is extremely fun. There is much variety to the moves you can pull off, and there are reasons to actually do the different attacks. Shooting factors in a little bit, but the guns are weak enough to balance it out. Do not expect a shooter. The game also mixes up the gameplay, so that you are not always just punching guys.
Story:
The story, although scatter-brained, is interesting. It is about a guy (The main character, Ghat), who killed his families Father-Mother (essentially the mother)
Even though the story is interesting it is probably one of the low points of the game.
Music/sound:
The music is awesome. It perfectly fits each level and each scenario. The voice acting is meh, but that's expected, considering the game is made mostly by 2-3 guys.
Art style/presentation/graphics:
Simply astounding. The gameplay is one of the best aspects of the game, but the art style is definitely the best part. The art style is inspired by surreal paintings, and it shows. The visuals are beautiful in every part of the game. The game is made in a modified engine of source, which uses mostly models for their level design. To achieve the style of the surreal paintings, the team had to use this method of level design. You won't see any boring, straight-lined squares (aka brushes) anywhere in the game. Playing the game is like being in a strange dream, almost nightmare-like.
Replay value:
The game is short, but very, very sweet. After you beat it, there are survival towers you can unlock so that you can fight waves of enemies to get to the top.
Overall, amazing game.
