WIP Fallout Style Bunker Door

ok i'm very new to 3dsmax but i'm trying for my first model something do able and looking for some feed back. the final product will be a large rectangle Faceted to accept the door and the door will be in the open/rolled to the side postition

here is what i have so far. was wondering about perportion. and any general suggestions anyone may have

EDIT: scrapped it all and started over. the above is the new render anythoughts?

Wow, that looks hawt, lol. Obviously it's hard to tell the scale, but I think you got the dimensions absolutely perfect. This would make a kick-ass sliding door. The only suggestion I can make is to add a wheel-handle thing to the middle of either side. Keep up the good work m8

i think the final product w/ the rectangular part of the door will fit in a 256x128 sized hole the door its self will be a bit smaller than 128x128 and yeah i'll probably add a handle i didnt even think about it

Looks good. Whichever side of the frame the door is on, put the wheel/handle on the other side.

ok added in a track....anyone see any problems w/ this...any suggestions. since i have no idea what i'm doing my aproach is probably way different and there could be a better looking base i can do with some insperation
