Lighting underwater needs work. You can't really see the heavy that shot you. Additionally, nobuild the water.

if it's brighter underwater it is not neccesary to make it non-buildable. Because you should be able to clearly see the sentries. And if the water is nobuild, the engie hasn't got a fun job to do..

I can never join the server when your map (a3b) is on, keeps bitching to me about missing map, no matter if I put it on the maps folder or not. Am probably overlooking something silly here right now, just mentioning though.

I think there was something wrong with the redirect. I'm going to work on alpha 4 now and I hope that time there won't be any problems!

As I already said before:
if the water is clear enough to see sentries and players under water, you should be able to build on it.
If it's too dark, it should be no-build, because it would give the engineers a big advantage.

Hope you find it usefull :p

You can't see sentries through the water. That's the inherent problem.

Maybe the water clearer underneath, remove drowning to encourage underwater combat, and get Acumen to model some baby whales. :)D)

I'd also suggest to Acumen that he add animations to the whales
- Random breathing/flapping idle animations
- Tail wagging whilst pushing the whale
- Opens his mouth sometimes and does a whale song (wowooaoaoaooaaoaaaaa)

And underwater stage would be amazing.

Played it during gameday! It was amazing.

It didn't feel like the engineer thing that others were complaining about was a problem - only a few sentries went up, and they tended to go down shortly after.

Very excited to see the next stage!

EDIT: Also, I second Randdalf's animation-suggestions.

Forgot to mention that:
- Acumen's already made babywhales
- The water in a4 will be brighter
- There will be lights underwater
- Stage 1 will be 1/5th longer
- ...

I must play this map, so that I can make a japanese whaling joke. I think sentries underwater need to be thoroughly thought out, though. The lack of visibility between out of water and into the water is dangerous.
