Weird shadows on walls

    I have no idea why the shadows show up like that.

    What did you use to make your lights? And where exactly did you put them?

    I had a similar problem before when my lights were placed too low and the shadow would appear on the wall rather then in a proper place.

    Also, if your using the "light" entity, i would suggest you change it to the light_spot. Most of valve's maps and the custom ones use this more then the generic light tool since it's directional and looks better overall.

    I'm just guessing, but maybe the shadow_control values are wrong?

    yeah, post a screenshot of your shadow_control and your light_environment

    EDIT: I mean the property windows, in case you're "smat" enough to think i mean their position in the world...

    Dynamic shadows (those for players and dynamic props, physics props) are controlled by the shadow control entity. Obviously, one of the numbers needs to be inversed...

    You need to inverse the pitch in shadow_control
