Voting rules:
  • Don't vote based on the author or aesthetics of the map. All maps are on the same level. You're voting to declare which maps play the best.
  • This thread requires you to have played at least 3/4 of all the maps. Don't vote if you haven't.
  • Please vote for no more than 5 entries. Votes are public so everyone will know what one voted.
  • Maps with good gameplay and a bad aspect deserve the same vote as maps with good gameplay and a decent aspect. Remember: this poll only asks which maps you had the most fun on.
  • If you are an author, do NOT vote for your own map. If you do, you and your map will be disqualified from the contest.

We should play each map like 15 mins, or nobody will ever play all the maps. :O

I played 2. These maps always makes me so depressed, I usually quit after one map...

I didn't play enough to actually vote, but here's my two cents on the ones I did test.

koth_aly_72 - This one was my favorite. Details aside, it was simple and fun. Its layout was reminiscent of koth_viaduct, but I actually liked it more than viaduct. It might have just been that particular round, but it ended with 0 seconds left for both team, which I deem pretty even.

koth_tictactoe - It took more entity work than, say, a koth map, so it gets points for originality. I didn't play it as long as the others. The UI was slightly confusing, guess that's why the tictactoe board was up.

cp_whitework - I only got to be on offense before the map changed. Cap A and B seemed easy enough to capture while the third one wasn't cappable (during that round). I like the smaller rooms that were good for pushing up with engis.

The arena map with a billion spirals - That was a bit of insane fun. I don't know how long it would be before I get tired of a map like that, but it might be because its arena. Soldiers had a huge advantage because if you got high enough fast enough you could kill most below you before they have a chance to get to you.

pl map i don't remember the name - If you had no forward spawning and no func_respawnroom brushes in your map then this one is your map. Those were two complaints I heard. Also, the spawn room placement of red allowed blue to camp the spawns while their cart was pushed up. I heard someone say that this was someone's first map, so if that's true its way better than my first map for sure.

I know these tiny reviews might not help since they aren't votes, but oh well, it was fun.

needs some sort of time-based schedule, so people know what maps are being played when.
seems somewhat meticulous to have such a detailed schedule, but it would show what maps people want to play,
and one who has not played a certain map can certainly join at a certain time to fulfill a certain 5 map requirement, of this i am certain.
what does certain mean again?

No offense terabyte, but this is just stupid. I can guarantee that no one played my map, so why would it have any votes!
