Top 3 Classes

I'm sure there has been a thread like this before but I didn't see one so here it is.

What are your top 3 favorite classes? Are these also your top classes according to your stats? Why? Simple discussion but it seems like everyone has a different top 3.


My top 3 would have to be sniper, scout, and soldier because I really like the classes that need a lot of aiming ability to effectively play.

Spy, medic, and demooman. Spy is a great class for a challenge, medic is a great class to help your team, and demoman is a more challenging explosives class than soldier.

this threads been up for less then like 45 seconds. That was a fast response lol. You have a point about the demoman being a challenging explosive class but I don't really see the soldier as a explosive class but more just a general combat class.

My top 3 are Spy, Pyro and... uhh, Engineer, I think? Not necessarily my favorites (I prefer Heavy to Engineer). I have about 160, 100 and 40 hours respectively.

well its not really about which classes your best at but more like the class you like the most. I suck at soldier but does that stop me from trying to get better at him cause he is awesome?

3 is ok, but I don't like playing anything other than pyro and scout.

Very conflicting indeed. I don't think there is a more conflicting combo. What were you playing spy, saw your team was losing, switched to engie, got stab-sapped, and switched to pyro to counter him?

I used to play spy. A lot. I grew up TF2 with spy. On my other account I have some 300 hours for him. Since then, I got so awesome at spy the challenge was dulled and it started getting boring.

I started playing engineer ever since I started mapping, and began to appreciate the intricacies of map mechanics better than those around me.

I only recently picked up Pyro. It's a lot of fun and now my favourite.

interesting story. The Pyros cool, I guess he would be 5th on my list after sniper, scout, soldier, and medic.

Do these reflect my player stats? Sort of. But for some reason Sniper has a grotesquely huge lead on my other classes for points. If I could put down a number four it would be Sniper, and I guess one day on Dustbowl I was either 'in the zone', against a pretty dumb team or a little of both.
The only class I never play is Spy, and it's only because I can't. I am definitely the most hopeless spy on the planet.
