What I never understood is why RED attacking isn't the norm. Red winds up having more sentries (despite Builder's league united) and BLU is the one blowing up the RED base in Payload (despite Reliable Effective Demolition). It just doesn't make sense.

Get this: front companies are rarely named after what they actually do.

It's just a name. And you wouldn't name your corporation after what a mere mercenary you hired has the tendency to do.

I agree there isn't a NEED per say, but I wanted to do a Blu mountain base because there is a distinct lack of interesting Blu environments. Sure there's several maps that have Blu as one half of a mirrored map, but there's way more Red maps than Blu ones.

I think I've decided on a nice middle ground though. If the base is neutral themed it can still be industrial like Blu's styling, and red can still defend. That way everyone's happy. :)

I never understood the point of this. When I can actually get players to play a custom map, it isn't like they care to know what silly little story is behind it. K.I.S.S.

I've never noticed which team attacked who. I play because its fun. I have no idea the story behind it nor do i really care to find out.

red against blue or blue against red... just point me in the direction to go I could honestly care less. *as I've NEVER noticed anyways*
