So i was trying to compile my map to test it, and i got this message when compiling:

also i'm getting this on my compile log, i can't even compile my map and test.

*** Error: Skybox vtf files for skybox/sky_night_01 weren't compiled with the same size texture and/or same flags!
Can't load skybox file skybox/sky_night_01 to build the default cubemap!
*** Error: Skybox vtf files for skybox/sky_night_01 weren't compiled with the same size texture and/or same flags!
Can't load skybox file skybox/sky_night_01 to build the default cubemap!

Like 5 minutes later i gave my friend a copy of my .vmf and he can compile the map with no errors.
Jesus christ my hammer is full of errors

    sorry for the spanish thingy

This particular error can actually be ignored; it will not cause a compile to fail and is only a minor cosmetic issue. Can you provide the full compile log in spoiler tags or Pastebin?

    It's most likely this
Make sure that all six of this model's files (.mdl, .phy, .vvd, .sw.vtx, .dx80.vtx, and .dx90.vtx) are in the right directory.

Ah, I was right, I tried pulling the .vvd of a custom model I used out of its folder and got this error when I compiled.

Just to check for myself, I installed the Precipice models, dropped the elevator into my map, and it compiled fine...so are you sure you got the right directory? Double check the file path with the premade directory the models came in.

    So the models are at:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\models\props_custom\precipice

and the material files are at:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\materials\custom\precipice

You can't change the names of the folders a model came in, because they are compiled to a specific file path. That's why they need to match exactly.

If you want to use the standard folders:
    tf\models\precipice
    tf\materials\custom\precipice

If you want to use your custom folder:
    tf\custom\stuff\models\precipice
    tf\custom\stuff\materials\custom\precipice
("stuff" can be replaced with whatever you want.)

Looks like the "The Command Failed" thing is fixed, and now i'm getting a hammer.exe stopped working, is this normal?

Did you happen to have Hammer open while TF2 was updating, say, today perchance? It's possible the app files got corrupted and you need to validate your cache.
