The age of fake server counts is over!

We all know that there are some servers in TF2 that use fake player counts to get people to join. Well today Valve (or someone else) did something about it.

It gets better. If you take the player counts and match them to passages in the bible you get stuff like this:

Jeremiah 50:32: The arrogant one will stumble and fall and no one will help her up; I will kindle a fire in her towns that will consume all who are around her."

Exodus 32:34 "Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin."

Jeremiah 50:24 "I set a trap for you, O Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it; you were found and captured because you opposed the LORD."

Acts 26:32 "Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.""

Are you sure that's valve? I just saw a server that also said: WOW A LOT OF "GOOD" ADMINS USE REAL CLIENTS.

I think it's either a joke, or someone looking for some good way to advertise his server.

It was multiple servers (previously known ones by different groups), plus they are locked.

That's what I'm assuming. It's a pretty good match too. Other playercounts turned up some interesting verses:

Well you can still edit your own server's name if you don't have fake clients

From what I'm hearing, it wasn't Valve who did it, but a hacker using a exploit to screw with fake-server-counting-servers.
