Wait what?

  • Fixed framerate affecting player turn rate while using the Demoman's shield charge
Even wierder.

You're NOT supposed to be able to turn without the gunboats.
(which, speaking of them, are actually completely broke. You could'nt actually TURN with them)

so apparently I had a "bad" computer.. I thought a standard (core i5, 3gb ram, some random intel graphics card) non-upgraded 2-3 years old computer counts as "good", but it turns out it isn't...
now I'll just go to troll some people, charging in circles on porpose just for fun
Valve broke the targe completely now
Thanks valve, for breaking more stuff espacialy for 1st april

No, it's the reverse taka. High framerates increased turning ability previously, but now no longer matters. Unless your computer had so low frames that this update improved your turning ability, in which case you will only be able to turn as much as the rest of us.

Well, the rest of us that don't have controllers or scripts. Those still work.

Well, you could easily just download a script for turning with the charge n targe, it would give almost instant 180's so who cares

The hats dropping thing was probably the reason I used to see cosmetic items hovering in mid air in the middle of nowhere sometimes. At least I hope this means they finally got around to fixing that.

In all seriousness, what WAS up with the flashlight thing? There are no flashlights in TF2. Was this something they were supposed to apply to, like, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch instead or something?

They like to call all projected textures flashlights.

There aren't any of those in TF2 either.
