I've made a map with a control point that is made up of multiple trigger brushes. Just like the other CPs on that map it works fine except for when players of both teams fight on the point. The team that has started to capture it can continue doing so even though there's opponents trying to block the capture.
The only reason for this I can think of is that this CP consists of more than 1 trigger brush, but I can't change that since I want there to be a hole in the CP area.

Is the index correct? I see you have it set to 3, but is that what it should be in the order the cps are active? I had the same issue on an early version of snowplow, my index values went 0,3,1,4,2,5 simply because I made 0,1 and 2 initially then added in 3,4,5 between them. I had exactly the same issue on some of the points until I rearranged the index to match the order they unlock in.

ive had problems with defenders being unable to block captures when the previous required point was not owned by them

see if you set those up correctly

Time to dig out the source code! The control point entities are in fact part of the source sdk.
