Slight Problem with Teamspawns

    I've recently noticed that i have somehow broken my spawns, i have tried remaking them and whatnot, but they seem to want to spawn every person, no matter the team, on the very firstone created, i have no idea how this has happened, and i'd appreciate any help you can provide.

    1. What mode is the map?
    2. Are the spawns tied to one team or the other?

    My apologies, It's a payload map, i have not yet delved into the murky waters of forward spawns.

    The Spawnpoints are tied to the correct teams, and the Blu spawn is completed in it's entirety with Func_respawnrooms and supply cabinets.

    If you use team rounds it will use the round_bluespawn and round_redspawn fields and ignore the teamnum field.

    Also is this using ABS' prefab?

    No, i've avoided using any prefabs right now, to try to develop my skill on it's own. Apart from this, my map works fine.

    It's single stage, at the moment, but will eventually be multi-stage.

    I'll download the prefabs, too. probably should swallow my pride at some point.

    Oh, wait.

    I already have that, i just didnt notice the Prefabs.

    same problem here...
    3 spawns for red. 3 spawns for blue... all enabled and in a proper func_spawnroom...
    Map is payload, and is working fine...
    Probably something simple slipped my mind... what ents i need for fully working respawns in pl?

    I also had this problem with my last map. Still in heavy developing fase. Was a symmetrical ctf map. Although i was to lazy to give the spawn entities an unique name. So maybe thats the problem.

    Actually, that's happening for me too. It's a KOTH map, and I followed the spawnroom tutorial on developer.valvesoftware.com. I have no idea why it's happening :(

    yeah... i thought so too
    then i met the Abs prefabs, and my own fail to make the entities work correct

    It makes life easier and gives more time to do the custom stuff.

    turns out, the Hammer wouldnt name them uniquely for some reason, that's why your spawns don't work, they need to be UNIQUE.
