Selected comp teams are testing a new TF2 beta

ok, and update on my previous post with some new info:

ALL CLASSES:
an autoreload option for all weapons with clips.

SCOUT:
FaN now does knockback based on dmage + range, and has had a damage nerf.
Sandman now gives the scout 95 HP, double jump and normal speed, stun mechanic being worked on.

SOLDIER & DEMOMAN:
self damage is being reworked for both classes

let's hope they're gonna release that soon now:thumbup1:

In addition, the pistol's max fire speed has been slightly reduced, but it now fires at that speed when you hold down the button. (from that thread again)

In other words, rapidfire scripts will be useless

I heard some other rumors about ideas for Heavy/Pyro to be able to damage themselves somehow. In push maps, this is one of their biggest disadvantages, as soldier/demo can hurt themselves to help grind uber

What would this mean for pub games, or other types of maps? Not much...I imagine these changes would take the form of a new weapon, which would have other advantages besides self-damage

self damage would help most other maps, any A/D or PL would benefit, and pubbers know how to grind uber
