I've noticed that not immediately trying to update the map after a playtest helps a lot. Of course, I can just make any obvious changes for the next version right away, but the other things that require more thinking can be done later. I just take a break for a few hours, and then continue my work when I'm ready. It's made me less susceptible to lazy map design, because I have time to process feedback and ideas while I do something else.

I have added props around the map, and added a new high ground area on the right. Overlays exist now, too. The added cover should make gameplay more interesting. I'll wait on testing this though, so I can patch this later to make some lighting improvements.
