From 12/2/09 gameday: I definitely had fun on this map. The layout didn't seem vulnerable to sniperage and I was able to play a variety of classes (medic, heavy, engie) with a fair amount of success. So that is good. As you have already noted, throwing some detailing in there seems like the next step.

Also I did more work on the back of the laser, since a lot of people were complaining about how the pipes looked entirely inflexible for something that would tilt 0-15 degrees, hopefully these look better.

Currently 4358 triangles, ignoring Sub-D's and animation frames, more than the level it's for at the moment!

should be way more rounderish ! tf2 never saves polygons on such huge objects when it comes to them being round as round can be !

Were you referring to the object as a whole, or the wires?

Because I definitely agree with you for the wires, and have already smoothed them out a lot, but the object as a whole is definitely not in need of more detail.

I seem to have run into a bit of a problem with the laser.

In source various triangles have become incredibly malformed, and look absolutely awful.

These issues are not present on the mesh inside max.

Idk what I did, but re-exporting and recompiling fixed it, thanks for the help tf2m chatroom people.

is not actually a door. I see people trying to run out there every game :)

Yeah me too hahaha, I'm gonna rework the spawns when I finish the next version. In the meantime I'll just listen to them talk about how silly they are that they keep running at it even though it's not real :(
