Resetting achievements?

It seems the Demo achievement "Sticky Thump" is glitched for some users, and with the recent ninja'd patch, I was wondering, is there a way to reset my stats?

I don't want to reset my achievements to where I lose every achievement I have, I just want to reset the achievements to where the counters for like "Kill ### Soldiers" are reset to 0, to hopefully allow myself to get Sticky Thump, etc.

Possible?

just be patient and valve will fix it? alternatively take up a steam ticket.

If you're really impatient you can reset your stats, that resets all counters and achievement counters but leaves already achieved achievments intact.

I'm gonna reset.

EDIT: Wow, I think resetting stats also deletes everything from your backpack.

Delete that file, and all your achievement progress will be deleted, already achieved stuff and stats will stay.

Steam\SteamApps\Accountname\team fortress 2\tf\tf2_playerstats.dmx

You could, but that involves creating a new steam account and buying team fortress 2 again...

And thats why i dont farm achievements, you can only get them once, and wheres the fun with farming?

Steam achievement manager
-snip-
Also works for getting all unlucks in 5 minutes :D

YM EDIT: uh uh uh, you didn't say the magic word

That's not endorsed by Steam, and I don't feel like getting VAC banned or banned from Steam or w/e.

Also, new problem.

I made a map in Hammer with a capturable working control point to do the achievement where you Sticky jump as a Demo onto a control point and cap it, and it hasn't given me the achievement, even though I've nailed it perfectly 20 times.

Same for the killing 5 defenseless people after a round has ended.

I wish, next to each stat - for each class - there was a "reset" button.

So if I wanted to delete my Most Damage/Round stat for the Pyro, for instance, I'd be able to.
