Reactive - Hydro/Power plant themed 3CP control king map with mirror symmetry.

Reactive is a control king map, meaning you must hold the central control point until your team's timer runs out or capture all control points to win. Other control king maps are structured like king of the hill maps, so I tried creating one designed more like a 3CP map. Similar to Powerhouse, both teams have the same respawn time regardless of who owns the point.

Alpha 1A

Major and minor changes due to agreeable pre-testing feedback. (Thanks Katsu!)
  • Final point is now almost ground level, and the capture zone has been expanded to include the nearby ramp
  • Widened short route from last to mid
  • Removed full health/ammo from long route from last to mid
  • Removed outdoor doorway to connecting route between main and low ground route
  • Replaced main route doorway with a wider 45 degree angle doorway
  • Reworked connecting route to come from the side...

Alpha 2

  • Team that owns the point now has 8 second respawn waves like KOTH
  • Lowered mid capture time from 12 to 8 seconds, same as final points
  • Extended ledge with small cover near final and reoriented ramp to face the doorway
  • Added new high ground route that also exits into medium health kit areas next to mid
  • Added new props near dead-end room at mid to create prop jump up to the bridge
  • Added tall windows to mid on medium health kit area walls

  • Increased control point timer from 3 to 4 minutes
  • Added new route to mid high ground that opens if the opposing team owns the control point
  • Added fence on ramp platform near far side of spawn
  • Cleaned up control point signage outdoors
  • Removed prop jump near ramp and added additional railing near edge
  • Changed barrels near point to be team colored
