Playing a custom map

I'm hoping to complete the first outline of one of my maps soon and I was wondering if there's a way to try out maps without getting them on a server's rotation. I'm sure there is, but I don't know how.

Help would be appreciated quite a lot.

you can always go on "create server" to wander around in your creation

if you want people to join without having a server, this tut might come in handy
(didn´t test it myself, but i believe it works)
