nother noob question..

OK, I just finished making and setting up my map. I would now like to know how to get it out there or host it for some beta testing and feedback.. Is there a tutorial out there telling me how to do this?

Its just a simple textured map but I think it has the potential to be fun. :tt2:

lots of ways...

1.) make a server, set sv_lan to "0" & have ur friends join & download it from you
2.) Host it on an FTP for people to download & give people the url to download it.
3.) Host it on here, fpsbanana or anywhere that hosts maps
4.) Make a virus that installs it on all computers that have TF2

for some reason, sv_lan doesnt work! Im behind a router but people cant join me

I think u will have to forward the game ports, like 27015 is the most common one.

Theres some other router options you might have to tweak to get it work so others can connect to you. Some routers its easy & quick, and others i know never got it to work properly. Google is your best chance.
