April 1, 2008 - Team Fortress 2 Update Released
Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Team Fortress 2
-New "Meet The" video released. French-language "Meet the Engineer" available for download.
-Fixed Linux builds not handling CREATEHAIRBALL cvar correctly
-Added new control point map CP_2Fort
-Games running custom maps have been moved from the main server browser to the custom server browser.
-Fixed client crash when pressing f10 to bring up the Ingame Help screen.
-Updated Achievements screen with several spelling corrections
-Fixed Achievements screen resetting achievement progress for all clients upon updating the Achievements screen.
-Fixed bug where BUILDCUBEMAPS would display the cubemaps after restarting the game less than two times.
-Fixed timer bug that gave BLU players slightly lower respawn time on 2Fort, Granary, Hydro, and Well.
-Updated Class selection screen on CTF_2Fort to default to Sniper instead of Heavy.
-Increased Soldier's magazine capacity from 4 to 12.
-Fixed bug where Scouts would occasionally register as two players by the team_capture_area entity.
-Fixed bug where Demoman's stickybombs would dissappear upon death, instead of exploding as intended.
-Changed Spy disguise so that the player's own name is displayed instead of a name from the opposing team.
-Changed Spy disguise so that all classes are holding a cigarrette.
-Changed Spy disguise so that all voice commands are done in the Spy's voice.
-Added Flamethrower Sentry unlockable to Engineer's build list. This new turret is short-ranged but will fire on both friendlies and enemies that come near it.
-Critical Medigun unlockable released. Please visit the Valve store page.
-Changed Heavy to automatically die when exiting a spawn room without a medic.
-Reverted Pyro back to release version, that's punishment enough!
-Goldrush delayed again
