    Description:
    A Team Fortress 2 Capture the Flag map with a center control point.

    Owning the control point grants your team access to the mining cart train that moves in between the 2 base’s dock. Both side's dock doors are restricted to point owners as well.

    I was thinking about turning this into a CP map. With 5 CP's, the one that's already in the middle, one just inside the lower inside dock door, and one where the flag is or the room right outside of it.

    If anyone happens to read this, I'd love feedback on that idea.

    I liked the idea of CTF with CP, but it's just too big for CTF. CP maps focus the war on a certain area, so it brings everyone together on a big map. Hehe, nothing new I know - I had read from the start CTF maps need to be small. I just didn't realize what 'small' really meant. I mainly focused on run times - like how many seconds from the flag to the dock door - 18 seconds. That's the same time on 2fort from the flag to outside. Getting to the dock on smuggler and getting to the outside on 2fort are both pretty much a win. So it seemed to me that there would be comparable game-play.

    I still haven't got to play this map with people though, so I really don't know, but someone's comment on fpsbanana was that with 24 people it was very lonely, hehe. It's suppose to be for 32, but I guess 8 more peps wouldn't help that much...

    I tried it today on a 24 person server... it's a bit big. especially the inside. size it down a bit, maybe the outside too.

    Very nice looking in those pics. I'll dl it as soon as I'm on my PC, but good job with the details!

    I've been taking a break for a bit - letting my ideas ferment some as I call it. I'm almost certain of my plans now though. I think I'll scrap the insides, possibly keeping the flag room - which is funny because it was the quickest section I did as an add-on to extend the distance to the dock door.

    My only reservation is that I've only seen this map being played once and I search for it frequently. I've seen so many bad maps being played, the fact that I never see this one played is very discouraging. But I guess completing the vision is more important and maybe 'if I build it, they'll come'... I think this game-play has a huge potential - that is - a hard to get CP that gives you an advantage in a CTF game if you can hold it.
