sup guys.

i am atm working on my map named collis (which you can find in my signature or just LINK). Apparently the existing waterfall prop by valve looks a bit retarded in my map, because the horizontal part of it sticks through a massive rock wall..and that is.... not correct.

So, I'm basically searching for some genius who either (depends on what is easier to accomplish):

+ creates a new waterfall prop that fits into my map and the related props

OR

+ cuts the unnecessary piece off.

Cheers,
archy

Extract the waterfall textures and make it a displacement. Gives you much more control and is editable later

sry, but that wont work since the waterfall is in front of a gate. so you can see through the waterfall when it opens. "from behind". and since displacements are invisible when looking at them "from behind", your plan wont work out.

maybe i should have added this before..

1) Get waterfall texture.
2) Make a nodraw cube where you want waterfall to be.
3) Ctrl+Mouse1 to select the 4 vertical sides of cube.
4) Create displacement and apply waterfall texture.

It works.

edit the waterfall texture so it has "$nocull" "1" that lets the texture be seen from the other side, in fact, I think it might already be nocull
