Model decompiling methods / xsi resources?

    The last model I made, I used Crafty to extract as .obj, seemed to work ok. I don't think I ever got cannonfodders decompiler to work (even trying IDST hack).

    I'm just interested in what methods others use (what apps?)... Any luck with animated models? Any tips in general?

    Also looking for resources for XSI, specifically the smd exporter or exporting to source. I haven't had too much luck on google for skeletal animations. I used to know some sites/forums, but I either can't find them or the sites are down.

    cannonfodders decompilere works fine for me, most animations work after decompiling with it.

    You probably placed the decompiler in the wrong folder (should be in ep1 not orange box)

    well i do everything that it says in cannon's readme and it still comes up with a error...

    the vstdlib.dll error

    it is in the sourcesdk\bin folder too...
