Mirage

    This is the thread for my first map for TF2 (and the first map I'm up to release at all)
    called Arena Mirage.

    The map is set in a backalley of an old industrial complex. The abandoned spy base in the middle is the target for both sides.

    Looks very nice, good detailing work. You need more interest on the side walls of that center building in my opinion though.

    I can tell just from this you're a pretty experienced mapper.

    Yes, those walls really need some attencion, but I still try to find something that fits. Maybe I'm just lacking the right inspiration. Thank you for sharing your first impression.

    I have added some screenshots from rc5 to give a more detailed overview over my map. I had an own thread here two months ago, but due to the restructure of the board it has been deleted ;)

    - a small gap between two brushes in BLU base near the stairs.

    Looks really nice, the area outside spawn is a little open. But you need to optimize and stuff since I'm getting framerate drops like wow.

    I think it's fine, mostly. So I don't have much to say. Just need to optimize.
