Maximum of 8 CPs?

I'm doing some extensive research for my contest-map and CP-guide (WIP both), and have sent hl2.exe a couple of times to "hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be closed" when starting me map.

Cutting down the number of CPs to 8 or less gets it working again, so: is there really a maximum of 8 CPs? I can't find any documentation or reference onto this issue...

(Yes, I know more than 8 CPs is much, I want 18 BTW D: )

Yep, 8 seems to be the maximum. And 18.. LOL that's alot

thnx for the confirmation, although I'm not happy with it, hehe.
And not all 18 are used for capping: Gravelpit style CP but A OR B to C

Looks like I have to work me through the logic department...

I got limited to 8 CPs as well, and the sad part is that I found that out while trying to make TF2 tic-tac-toe.
