Season's Beatings as it's smissmas time in the Tuefort mall and Saxton Hale is on a tear. Can the mercs take him down and save a capitalistic Icon, or will hale turn it into a parking lot? Who knows, who cares......well the cars probably care....as well as whoever owns the mall.

Dang I wanted to make a VSH set in a mall too (well, actually I first thought of a factory, but there is already one)

Tho im thinking that maybe in this map would work better the gimmick i did for Snowshore, in which dead players drop a present with health, just a suggestion.

I downloaded the map and I noticed a few things that could be improved in the next version.

In this kiosk (next to the fountain thing) you use a dev texture, and the small bars of the glass doesnt reach the end (also the glass is seems cut or something).

I'm sure the text is provisional for now, but the texture below it is not algined with the rest of the kiosk.

Add overlays to the ammo and health

The time of the clock says its 3 AM, which i dont know if its intentional since i dont think any mall has lights on at 3 AM.

These tables and that chair are inside the wall (also the grey tiles of the column look weird over the ones in the wall)

Add ropes to the giant christmas bulbs, so they are not in mid air

The floor in the saxton hale area has a leak, and also there is a weird tunnel in the wall, hard to see but its there.

This kiosk looks weird coming out of the wall, maybe sawp it with the machines un the background

Check the fire extinguishers, cause they have a missing model over them, in fact i opened in hammer and it seems you copy the brush as solid, so its just a brush with noclip that does nothing (also i think some fire extinguisher is missing it, also dont forget to give them different names or they'll reproduce the sound at the same time)

The sign over the elevator is not aligned to the elevator, same happens on the other side

All the brushes like this have that red texture over them

I would add some street or something outside, and maybe change the skybox, since it has that white part (maybe use the one in my pack instead).

BIG BALLS!

-lighting
-detailing
-added some Christmas lights
-added more detail out of the big windows to block the white part of the skybox image
-added ropes to the BIG BALLS!
-fixed some gaps in the geometry
-added patches under pickups
-replaced watergate bar prop
-probably other stuff to, idk man it's all a blur to be honest

Another round of small things to feedback, this time is personal.

You fixed the missing texture on the wall, but the column is still missing a texture, also I noticed another spot without texture

The door next to the bar has z-fighting on the top

This is still broken and I know why, I opened in hammer and turns out you have duplicated brushes in that wall, and even one of the columns

This kiosk near RED spawn has bars that doesn't reach the end

There is nothing wrong in this kiosk, but for some reason is taller than the other kiosks for some reason, and is the most empty one, it needs some stuff on it

The saxton hale present interior looks very different than the outside, and I think it could be fixed without even making new textures, just use dev textures like i did in the pic below

I noticed you are still using the old version of my kiosk, which has a bbox issue, if you look high enough the model disappears, the new version should fix that

Also the new version is less dark and has 2 new skins, just mentioning this cause it would be nice to have more colors around

There is a collision issue with 2 of the tress in RED spawn, I openend the map in hammer and one of the block bullet was off center and the other one was way floating in mid air

This extinguisher doesnt have a bell on top of it, and again, put the different names, if you hit one all of them sound, and that could be confusing for players hearing a random bell sound out of nowhere

Just a reminder of updating the texts fonts (I think Lizard of Oz mentioned this too in the feedback)

At last add a menu photo, although I think you are probably waiting for RC to do this

Also I noticed you included the mission brief txt, but Valve updated the game files and now VSH maps by default have this text, so you dont need to add it anymore
