    Greetings all. I'm *David*, one of the managers of the Stompfest Gaming Community. I've been a fan of what you guys do for a while, but never got around to registering until today.

    Anyway, besides introducing myself, I wanted to also let anyone who is interested know that we are going to start holding regular Mapper's Workshop nights on our Fast and Instant Respawn servers. The event will run from 9-11pm EST every Friday evening. Basically, if you have a map you are working on and need a place to play-test it, we want to be there to help, and have a community full of experienced TF2ers that can offer some awesome feedback.

    Hopefully this won't get deleted by the mods... I'm not just trying to make a shameless plug here. Anyway, if you're interested in participating, head to www.stompfest.com and post a link to your map in our Source Maps forum.

    errr Instant Respawn can really mess up testing a map because it gives to much advantage to the defenders. If you could take it off for the test that would be great. :)

    This. If you play custom maps, or any map with instant respawn you're instantly throwing away weeks of work that the mapper has done because you/your players are a little impatient.

    Map balance can usually, infact almost always is dependant on the respawn timers. Without meaning to sound like a dick any feedback you and your players can provide whilst playing on instant respawn is pretty much worthless and a waste of breath/text.
