Making buldings

Hey guys, i have made a very complex building in tf2 for my assignment at uni, it has alot of brushes whcih make each detail of the building.

Problem is it goes very laggy when i have compiled the map. Well when i turn towards my building. Should i make it a func detail or something else? im a bit puzzled.

Parts of the map should be made func_detail, like pillars. There is a guide in the tutorials section (actually 2, 1 short one, and one external one that somebody linked to).

Really, read the long guide. It is really helpful and made me aware of places I can save compiling time and gain framerates.
