Make administrator refer to point as being final. Using Vscript?

I am doing cp domination, standin type stuff. I want the announcement to be "the final control point is being captured!" to play when the team only has one point left. I use vscript to change a value on the team_control_point object that is at least in some way used to change the announcer lines. It don't work. Like the function is called, but nothing changes. Still refers to it as just a regular control point. I can just do it manually... using triggers and playsound. But if there's a way that less brute force, I would love to hear it.
