Loop sound's size

Everytime when i'm making loop sound with GoldWave or Wavosaur it's always making big size file, can it be fixed in those both softwares or i can avoid it via .rar compression?

Save your .wav-files with Microsoft ADPCM attributes in order to cut down file size
