no it's that I'm not paying money to use a forum because people on the internet don't have good things to say

well pay-to-register is mostly a tactic to get little kids out and easier enforce bans, which is I think more of an issue for them than us. I would never suggest charging money for a basic tf2m forums account.

That's what I was thinking of. Except that contributes a new emote for the whole forum, right? Not just the person who bought it?

Sounds neat, but I have to admit that I do not want to see scaled down 4chan memes as emoticons.
