I've got a big problem here. I've done a part of the map, but now I want to add more displacements, and sub-divide them.

Problem is I can't do it because it breaks the original displacement, and I can't subdivide all the cliff because I've made holes on them to make the doors, so if I subdivide it will break what I've been doing before.

Do you know a way to only subdivide the vertex I want to subdivide?

You cant afaik.

Just modify each point by hand, you know - how you are suposed to do it :p

Youme is right. Subdivide is a tricky and tempermental beast best left alone and unprovoked. By hand is the best way to go. Time consuming, but best.

Exactly, everyone keeps saying the displacements on bloodstained are amazing (which they aren't! Really) and I made those completely by hand, I only used the subdivide tool to see what it made certain areas look like before hitting undo and duplicating the effect by hand.

Ok, I've done it by hand, I'm a lazy bastard but finally I got it lol.
