Kyaing's New Trains Pack - A pack of additional trains to spice up the variety of railcars and engines on your TF2 maps.

What's that coming down the track?
It's just the biggest pack of train models ever made for Team Fortress 2, of course!
Leading the way is the formidable GE C36-7, the first six axle diesel engine made for TF2.
Included alongside it is a good variety of freight cars as well as a semi trailer.

MODELS IN THIS PACK:
c36.mdl - a GE C36-7.
autorack_open.mdl and autorack_covered.mdl are open autorack railcars.
flatcar_psh10a_hitchup.mdl is a Pullman-Standard PSH10A flatcar. freuhauf.mdl...

Very good effort, this looks like it had a lot of thought put into. I did notice that freuhauf_opendoors has its collision blocking the interior so players can't jump inside it. It can be fixed by creating blockbullet brushes around the prop and disabling collision, but an improvement could be made so that the CM is hollow to allow jumping inside it.

Besides that, the trailer looks great because I've had several moments where I wanted a longer trailer and this pairs well with FGD5's vehicle pack. I like the trains too because L4D2 has props just like them. And I'm not sure if this is just a leftover, but C36 appears to be missing textures for skins 2 through 5. It seemed odd to me since there's a convenient BLU (colored) train but no RED (colored) one.

I need to fix the qc file for the C36. Initially it was going to have 6 skins, representing the same railroads as the autorack car... but I kind of lost interest in working on the model. I will temporarily fix the pack so it just has the 2 skins.
Right now, my priorities aren't TF2 related, but I do want the stuff I upload to be free of issues.
Current bucketlist:
  • Fix aforementioned issues
  • Work on making the 4 other skins for the C36-7
  • Make more trains, of course after ironing out everything.
