"invalid name for map" error, how do i fix?

im trying to publish a map to the workshop(via the in game menu), even though i did everything it told me to(give the map name, an image, a description, the file) it keeps giving me the "Invalid name for map. Map names must be lowercase and of the form cp_foo.bsp." error. I don't get what's wrong?

Might simply be too long? Try a shorter name.
