im pretty new to this site and mapping

hey guys im new to this site and mapping in general i have only made a few failed attempts at mapping (unless you count an empty box a success...which i do) and i think i have learned most of the basics and i am working on a map currently (its a csgo map idk if there is csgo mapping stuff here too?) and i just wanna jump right in to the mapping community idk what to do to actually do that so if you guys could help with that it would be awesome

Welcome! We don't particularly test cs:go maps here but I'm sure you would be able to find some people to test the maps (or bots i suppose).

Bots are always worse than real people; they additionally require nav-mesh which could be wrong in many situations. Fixing it is pretty time-consuming.
This community could help you pretty much about technical problems but I'd not expect layout and gameplay advices. Though, I think this is the only really big Source mapping community.
However, you registered and entered it, and this means welcome.
