[Idea] Payload Map Pack

First of all, I want to say that I got the idea from the "Koth Map pack" and I thought it'd be great if we had a payload map pack with the most popular payload maps. From what I have seen the most popular payload maps are listed below, if you think that I have forgotten to add a good payload map please let me know so I can add it to the list. Since the payload map contest was such a hit, payload has become one of the most popular game types i thought we could make it easy for server owners to add the best payload maps made to their servers. Now this is just an idea, I want to know what the authors of the maps think about this. Do you guys like the idea, if so please post so we can talk more about this.

and the koth maps weren't as well known as the list here. i've seen all these maps on public servers numerous times

The Big King pack worked well because it introduced new maps into the game theme, or converted the old ones into new ones with more. With yours its just "Oh hey these are some of the great payload maps", which isn't a bad idea, but doesn't merit much publicity.

EDIT: And plenty of servers already have those maps on the lists, I don't think its going to gain much more grounding.

I agree it would have as big of effect as the big king pack, but it wont hurt either.

I wouldn't say it "needs" to be done or it "shouldn't" be done. I think its a cool idea, and all it can do is help tf2m, our users maps, and feedback for the maps that are not final yet. Definitely not a downside to it.

I do want to see decent maps. Not every Payload map.

pl_downhill #1 Most under-rated pl map ever.

pl_downhill really only recently took off as a good pl map.

It really threw me a curve ball when I saw it being worked on still, detailed!

Never heard downhill, i really want to try it now. I like the idea of adding great pl maps that are not as popular. The point of this is to add all the great pl maps into 1 pack, not just the popular ones. They were just on the list first because they came into his mine first i would guess.

When is this list going to be final btw? I suppose I could nominate my own map, although I'm planning on a new version in a week or two.

I would rather see attention given to maps that are having trouble getting their names out there, rather than these already rather popular maps. Rather than a map pack dedicated to a specific gamemode, I'd rather see a map pack dedicated to getting some lesser-known maps flowing through the circuits of TF2.

KotH was interesting because it was new and there weren't many custom KotHs out yet. PL is very established though, and a pack with that wouldn't be as interesting.
