How to copy individual particles in particle editor?

So, let's say I've made a particle in a file named customparticle.pcf. However, I want to paste this to another .pcf for whatever reason. How do I do it?

I've tried copying here and there, but it only copies the text and can't paste attributes; Maybe I did something wrong though. Just, please tell me how to copy individual particles.

Open particle editor, open pcf that you hav original in, and pcf that you want to paste into. Then just select needed particle, copy, open end file, paste
