Hi everyone!
Alright, here's the problem: I've been working on a map lately, and I've used the startup option -console to have TF2 started with the dev console open in main menu, using it to load my map via map <mapname>. Then, I've proceeded to run some tests with bots – like, are the darker areas lit enough to see enemies, how exposed is an enemy while capping, and so on. However, I've noticed that apparently, TF2 mistakes this for a "real" game, because I've been awarded achievement progress during testing. Which is, obviously, cheating, and not the testing I'm aiming for.
So, my question is: can I somehow disable achievements, stats, and item drops temporarily during testing? Or is there perhaps another, "correct" way to test a map, like a map-testing equivalent of "itemtest"? I'm not talking about playtesting a finished map. I've literally only finished two rooms, but I want to make sure they can be played before proceeding with creating the rest of the map.
Thanks in advance for any answers,
