Hey everyone on here

I have found the TF2maps community a few months ago through a friend of mine who played there a lot (EU Server). it has gotten one of my favourite servers because of all the friendly people and interesting maps to try out. every time the server had some people on it i joined and played, also learning how to post feedback to the maker of the map.

for a few weeks now i dont find the EU-Server in my favourite list anymore and i went to this site to find out if it has been taken down for some reason. But it seems the server is still up and running (or am i missing something?)

Sadly i can also not find the server if i enter the server adress (no games under this adress) and also if i click "join" on the website nothing happens. I checked my blacklisted servers, but its empty.

and now here i am, wondering why i am not able to find your EU server anymore!?
I am a friendly (and really talkative) tf2 player with lots and lots of hours in TF2 - and i have never been banned (or kicked) for misbehaving on any server i ever played on (apart from the "make room for a member kick).

But it is actually the only imaginable reason left why i would not be able to find your server anymore. I have no idea why i would have been banned nor can i remember or recall anything that happened that could have caused a ban/kick. Can anyone on here help me?

My ingame name is "TAW | Humans are Weak" and some of you guys might still remember me as i spent a lot of time on your EU-Server.

Thank you all for your replies in advance and hopefully: Shoot you soon ;-)

Hey, I do remember you! Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

Now I don't know about being banned or anything, but I think that if you were, the server would still appear on your favourites list but it would kick you if you tried to join. What I think is more likely is that the favourites list screwed up itself, and just forgot the IP or something. Have you tried finding the server using other means/using connect <ip> in console?

Hey there :) Sorry for the late reply.

Yes i have tried to add the IP manually (eu.tf2maps.net:27015) maybe thats the problem. Does anyone know the correct IP (in numbers?)

Best regards

It's possible that our URLs are out of date, again, though that seems less likely now that we're using proper domains instead of raw IP addresses.

It would be rather nice if Valve retooled the server browser to store domain-based URLs instead of grabbing the IP and storing that instead, so servers that need to change their IP for some reason can do so without issue. Throw that one on the pile, I guess.
