Hello all, Best to begin at the beginning: I started my online gaming career on a graphical MUD (if anyone remembers those) a little over 10 years ago. After playing for about a year or so, some in-game friends and decided to take on the task of creating our own graphical MUD. I can still remember creating all those sprites using MS Paint [shutter], thus launching my interest in game design as well as graphic design. Later, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for game design, but was unhappy with the program structure and content- so I left and moved back to my hometown where I now work a normal 9-5 job. I also belong to the TF2 division of an online gaming community (eGO). Getting back on track as far as gaming and design, I'm a newcomer to mapping with Hammer other than a feeble and failed attempt at a CS map years ago. I'm a jack-of-all trades when it comes to art (painting, drawing, sculpting, concept art, graphic design, web design, some minimal 3D) and game design in general. I hope to start my first TF2 (CP) map soon and have to give a big thank you for all the resources that are available through this community. Cheers, and hopefully I'll have a WIP up in the not-to-distant future.
