It seems that list only contains engine commands common to all Source games, and omits TF-specific ones. In most cases "tf_" and "mp_" will find those though.

Rather than making a new thread, would anyone be interested in a list of hidden convars for TF2? Valve tucked away dozens of commands to modify things like cloak duration, recharge rate, ubercharge rate and duration and others.

The forum I originally found the list on is no longer around, but I'd be happy to clean up my messy text file copy and post it here if anyone wants it.

I cleaned up my disorganized mess of a list and removed some of them like tf_birthday that are now officially usable.

The list is here on my site.

Just remember they're internal commands, so they can't be accessed through the console. You'll need an admin package with internal convar functions (such as sourcemod's sm_cvar or Beetlesmod's @cvar).

Oops, I forgot to mark that one as untested. I've run through the majority of them and noted what they do but I missed a few it seems. I'll run a test on it next time I get a chance.

I spent a whole day messing around with the more interesting and useful ones, and have even implemented a couple small tweaks permanently.

Message Commands

How bout a list of message commands?

I know a lot of them are there but I'm specifically looking for one that will work just like sm_csay or @@@ in chat, but instead of displaying myID I want it to display ADMIN:

In answer, you'd need to use a server plugin to do that, can't just do it straight out of Source
