Hey guys! I have something to ask... If you have any feedback on Frostmoon, please share it here in the forum comments... I love the concept of the map, but I don't think it achieved the level of quality it deserves... Unfortunately I can't bring it back to beta, so I'll release RC for now. Or maybe I can? Experts on name convetion can help me on that.

Any feedback is useful and will help me a lot!

Pre RC5

Releasing Pre RC5 for testing before declaring RC5 ready:
  • Updated map to use the last version of Ice Tower.
    • Revamp of artpass.
    • Layout revision.
    • Added jump pad.
  • Revamp of underworld (now it's moonworld).
  • Removed spell spam. Now you can only get spells in the moonworld.
  • Added more snow.
  • Updated lighting to accommodate the nighttime setting.
  • Reduced capture time by 2 seconds.
  • Reworked magic bridge.
  • Moved some pickups around some more.
Frost Moon is becoming a more grounded Halloween map, with no pumpkin bombs and with a reduced amount of spells you can obtain.

Pre2 RC5

I'm very aware of the issues with the map being considered not 'halloween-y' enough, and to be honest I don't have the will and energy to fix that, I just want to finish RC5 and move on.
  • Added quick heal after entering moonworld.
  • Raised magic bridge to the high ground of the dam.
  • Extended time of speed condition after entering moonworld.
  • Removed containers of the mid rail track to allow better view of magic bridge.
  • Fixed inconsistencies between BLUE and RED sides.
  • Fixed missing menu photos.

  • Fixed seams and desaligned textures around the map.
  • Re-added missing func_builds on spawn exits.
  • Fixed wrong ambient hue for HDR lighting.
  • Fixed some early fade props and areaportals.
  • Fixed some inconsistencies between BLU and RED sides.
  • Moved lamp prop out of the way around the containers.
  • Raised the health kits in the moonworld a bit.
