Well yes I know that but what the hell kind of mistake could my primitive knowledge of file management have me create?

When I screwed up in a similar situation (if you use tf/custom) I found deleting tf/materils and others then revalidating fixed it for me.

Oh my god I hate myself, I had it set on 3D wire-frame and I am only noticing that now after a complete reinstall.
