Filtering Classes

I am working on a custom game mode. To make it more dynamic, orginal, fun, etc. I wish to be able to output certain actions in the world based on whether they are triggered by scouts, heavies, demos, etcetcetc.

Is there a way to do this? I don't care how hard it is, I can handle it.

I don't have Hammer handy with me ATM, but there's an entiry you can create called filter_classactivator or something that I've noticed but never thought of using. I don't know if it will work with TF2, but just use that like you could any team filter and I'm 90% sure that should get class-specific triggers for your trigger brush.

No, there is currently no way of doing this. It has been requested in our community letter to Valve.

Actually I think the last update added some kind of class filter, but I'm not sure. Just poke around the triggers.
