FFN Map Montage Needs Maps!

Some of you may know of the freefrag server Map Montage, its a mostly custom map server with a few valve ones thrown in.

We would looooooooooooooove it if some of you map designers looking to try your maps out in a 32 pub server would let us test them for you. We are constantly looking for new maps and usually end up coming here to find them, so I figured why not actively encourage it?

You can register on our forums at: http://www.freefrag.com/ to get feedback, the creator of checkpoint, heaven, and persia have done that already. Us players are glad to help you work out your maps until they fit your idea better.

There are a lot of maps, but we rotate out on a pretty regular basis and keep things fresh, so send us maps

We like to think the server is some what unique in that regard. The goal for Map Montage was to attract the more skilled players that have an appreciation for good custom/stock maps. It is very much a community oriented server. In fact, most of the changes for maps and settings have come directly from the community members.

However, the problem is that it is very difficult for me to go through fpsbanana and tf2maps to select quality maps that people will enjoy.

This is where you all come in.

It would be great to see some quality custom maps featured on the Map Montage server.

I figure this will help some of the map makers get some feedback from our community and get some play testing time as well.

If any of you are interested in having your map hosted on our server don't hesitate to post below.

Would any of you be interested in heatmaps for you custom map?

If you just need maps go ahead and check out the ones in my signature, they are all playable except Enigma. Good luck with your hunting.

You can try ctf_haarp. It seems to get played on a number of other servers. Hit the link in my signature (vineyard and landfall are in alpha stage and aren't really ready for pub servers).

Hahaha no way Ravidge, you made panic? That map is freakin' amazing, the only plr that I've found to be any good so far. We also play Silvertrail a lot :x

And haarp has been on the server before Dr. Spud & everyone really enjoyed it. I think it just got shuffled off during this whole thing that happened with our servers this December : /

I added in CTF_haarp and cp_vineyard. Feel free to make a thread on our forums about your map. Hopefully we can start getting feedback for map makers more than we already have.

We already run plr_panic on the server and to be honest it is one of the most popular maps running on our gaming community.
