Remember that one time I made a Journey into Imagination map? Yeah, that was sooooo long ago.

Now that I have more experience with map making, I'm ready to go tackle this attraction once again.

The Sound Update

Happy March 32nd! Just kidding, April Fools! This version of the map adds the on-ride audio from the attraction, as well as some new effects in the finale. Also, the ride control systems have received an update. The next version onwards will add details from the ride into the map, starting with brushwork, moving into custom props and textures.

The Get-it-out-the-door update

After two grueling months of redesigning the level, adding animations, a slight name change, and a boatload of debugging, Alpha 3 is ready!
--WARNING, DO NOT PLAY WITH sv_pure 2, OR YOU'LL RISK A SERVER CRASH!--

Changes:
- Made the layout more accurate to the original attraction
- Gave each scene a starter design
- Figment now animates in (most of) the scenes he's in
- All audio now plays through soundscapes (Take the L, ambient_generic.)

The Content's Packed! Update

Happy 20th anniversary Journey into Imagination with Figment!

Once again, my map gets another patch, due to me forgetting that I need a clean install to test on. Thankfully, I have my laptop to help with that. No more content errors for the foreseeable future. (Hopefully.)

All the content should be packed in this time. No need to go as far as version a3fubar. Now get out there and see Figment for me!

A4 is here!​

After a rest, some thinking, and some sparks of inspiration, I have put forth the next version of the map! I'll be on hiatus for a while after the upload, since I need to set up my new PC! See you all real soon!

The Spooky Prequel to A5

You thought this project was dead? THINK AGAIN, MORTAL! As this mildly spooky overlay brings a little teaser for the next major version, ALPHA 5! New models as well as adjusted set pieces, and for this season, a different music track!

Thanks to Michael Picher for arranging "Figment's Nightmare," a spooky rendition of One Little Spark that plays in the common areas of this map. This is also the first version of the map to ditch VIDE in favor of CompilePal! Have a happy Halloween everybody...

-Fixed issue with exit doors not opening
-Fixed players getting crushed by tram doors
-Removed the autospawn button

WOOOOOO, Bumper Cars!

Nothing like a race on the upstairs track to awaken the senses.

The Update You've Been Waiting For

CHANGELOG
-Added a secret hunt quest that uses the Absolute Muppet and the Big Blue House maps
-Completing this quest will grant everyone in the server access to a special reward
-Quest progress is saved between maps
-Finally opened One Little Spork (with inspiration from Toothsome)
-Installed proper plumbing and ventilation throughout the building
-Figment looks a bit different
-Tram car size shrunk, can now support 4 cars per train

Confound this damn Map Quest!

Well, SS1 regulars, are you happy now? Not only is the quest system fixed, but it's non-linear now! Not to mention that the ride system has been upgraded again, supporting block sections and dynamic delays.

-A tour tram in a block will not depart until it's show scene is done AND the block ahead is clear

-Added more obvious hints to the connection between my other maps
-Map has been properly compiled this time (HDR supported!)
