My name is Seph. I just recently opened my own TF2 server, and got into mapping. So, naturally, I am a novice to all of this... But not completely. I've mapped for multiple games before. (Some of them Officially!!!) Hammer is by-far the easiest program I've used. It's extremely user-friendly. I'm really interested in learning as much as I can about the program, and hopefully you'll see some map releases from me.
