CP map with payload cart

    Hello,

    I come from Colt's Playground and am not really in to mapping yet, but some time ago I had an idea for a map and like to make it.


    I wanted to make a symmetrical CP Map, but not with normal capture points, but with the payload cart to make it more dynamic like the payload map type. This could make symmetrical CP maps more fun to play I think.

    But I got no idea if it is possible. MacNetron already tried something, but he could not get the cart start somewhere else than the end of the track. ( http://coltsplayground.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2618 )

    And I tried some things, but could not get cappiong for Red to make the cart move the other way working.

    Anybody here got ideas if this is possible and how?

    You have to use two capture area, once for each team.

    Take a look at pl_keepaway (i think it's called)

    I managed to get a 2way cart working, with a lot of trial and error.

    The cart is just a func_train, so you can have it start wherever you want. Just put the start node in the func_train properties.
