Kill your enemies and sacrifice their minds to appease these two else risk becoming brainless yourself. So collect as many as you can and hop into the otherworldly mindscape to score. the pickups are just intelligence boxes. also the damage rampup in the mindscape is really fast. if you enter it with just as econd left to go its a death sentence. and the voice changer sometimes plays a normal sounding voice instead of the robotic voice

You're out of touch

-inverted mid nipple
-added some balcony's
-adjusted health and ammo placement
-brightened overall lighting
-made mindscape larger
-made cap zone around mindscape larger
-made mindscape play space more interesting
-fixed players getting thrown into the void when teleporting to the mindscape
-added railings to mindscape entrance as a failsafe if above still happens
-exiting mindscape now gives a few seconds of uber
-minor detail changes
-minor clipping changes
-attempts at optimization...

the railings added to the mindscape that are meant to stop people from getting launched of when they jump into the mindscape has no collision.

the area under the entrance to the mindscape is missing its floor entirely.

the map doesnt have halloween mode enabled.

Morley Gray Matter

-Brightened most of the map
-Moved cap area teleporter exit out of spawn
-clipping fixes
-detail fixes
-pushed back spawns a bit
-used a different particle for the teleporter without the distortion effect
-added some lights to the green goo
-optimization stuff
-other things too probably

  • You can get out-of-bounds on the roof near the main entrance of RED to the main area
  • In BLU spawn the tray/table with the bushwacka and brain doesn't have any collision
  • All "referigorators" in the map have no collision letting players and buildings hide in them
  • There is a railing/walkway near RED spawn that can be built and walked on
  • You can sticky jump (using the basejumper) out-of-bounds of the "underworld" area of the map on both sides
  • In BLU spawn the ceiling lamp isnt connected to the chain :p

Just some minor stuff I missed... somehow
  • There are several displacements that arrent aligned correctly in the "Underworld" area near the center area (this is on both RED and BLU side)
  • RED's rails in the "Underworld" area is missing collision/clipbrush
  • One of the icons on the hud is missing

Anyway thats it, amazing looking map and good luck on getting it into this years Scream Fortress!

I checked out _b4b with about 10 people just to get some gut feedback responses.

1. About half the people found the voice over to be very annoying. I wasn't one of them, so I can't elaborate, unfortunately.
2. A little more relevant: the brain world capture zone caused some confusion. I had one player not grok what the white square lightning indicated, and multiple players run into the middle of the capture zone and get frustrated when they were teleported out.

I think the "teleporter as nonlethal hazard" idea is pretty neat, but I think it would be a good idea for it to be made more obvious somehow.

Overall, map looks great, and I like the way fights play out so far, in both the over and underworlds.

So close I can almost taste it, and it tastes like rainbows

-optimization
-fixed the models causing lag at mid
-detailing
-down pitched announcer to sound less harsh on the ears
-lighting changes
-clipping fixes
-menu photo's added
-custom description added
-custom .res file added for pd hud
-more brains scattered around the map (can you find them all?)
-made teleporter in main map more obvious
-made teleporter in mindscape more obvious
-made cap zone in mindscape more obvious
-probably some other stuff too trying to get ready for rc1
