Connection issues with TF2Maps Server

When I tried connecting to the TF2Maps server the other day, I was given the error "Missing map maps/<Map name>.bsp, disconnecting". It only happens on TF2Maps servers.

Here are some settings that may be of use.
cl_allowupload 1
cl_allowdownload 1

sv_allowupload 1
sv_allowdownload 1
net_maxfilesize 16

If there areany more files I must post, let me know.

We determined yesterday in DM's that this was due to you not being able to connect to ewr1.vultrobjects.com which hosts our fastdl. You could have a firewall blocking it on your network or your ISP could be blocking it.

Perhaps it has something to do with me using Brave as my default browser? that might cause problems

A browser should not be making adjustments to a firewall. I don't think that's the issue. There are 3 potential firewalls that can be causing this, your computers firewall, your networks firewall, or your ISP's firewall. I would suggest seeing if using a VPN allows you to connect for some reason. You could also try disabling any anti-virus software as that may be blocking it as well.

Tried VPN and tried turning off firewalls through windows defender. Neither worked.

Does your internet connection go through a modem? If so reboot that. See if the ISP just needs to update a routing table. If that doesn't work, how familiar are you with networking? You need to start figuring out where the failure point is, pinging our fastdl, doing a tracert to it, etc.

I tried resetting my router. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. I have no clue how networking works and haven't the faintest of ideas what techniques you are talking about are.
